My strength-based counselling sessions provide people with a supportive, safe environment where they can:

  • improve relationships and increase connection to others

  • explore creativity, reduce self-limiting beliefs
  • resolve problems
  • develop insight and gain confidence
I bring a creative, hopeful, trauma informed perspective that acknowledges the challenges of living with big feelings, and draws on an extensive range of evidence based approaches to help people live their best (inner and outer) life:
  • Evidence Based Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT / Tapping)
  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness including creative therapies 
  • Family systems theory
  • Domestic violence awareness - DV-alert trained
  • Suicide intervention (ASIST trained)

Cancellation policy

I appreciate a minimum of 24 hours notice of session cancellation, so that I can offer a spot to others who may be on a waiting list. Regretfully, for same day cancellations I will need to apply a cancellation fee equal to half the fee of the booking.
